Hyvinvointilomat holidays

The holiday periods given on this page are subsidised by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health from Veikkaus funds in partnership with Hyvinvointilomat. All the selections for the holiday weeks are made by Hyvinvointilomat. Selections of holidaymakers follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The subsidised holiday periods will go ahead as planned if the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health awards the grant from Veikkaus funds applied for by Hyvinvointilomat.

Hyvinvointilomat charges a fee (own contribution) of €50-125. The fee depends on the resort you are looking for. There is no charge for children aged under 16. The own contribution for adults for the unemployed persons’ week is 50 euros per 5 days.*

How to apply for a holiday

Every applicant must send their own application unless they are in the same family as the main applicant.
Applicants who are accepted are sent a letter of invitation and an invoice, either by e-mail (if given in the application) or by post. The invoice must be paid to the account of Hyvinvointilomat by the due date. Three weeks before the start of the holiday the resort sends holidaymakers a letter with more details of the holiday.

When applying for a holiday period, we recommend that you use the electronic application link for each holiday period. Remember that each holiday can only be applied for on the dates given. If you want to apply using the manual application form, forms can be ordered from the Hyvinvointilomat office tel. 010 830 3400 or toimisto@hyvinvointilomat.fi. You can get a subsidised holiday every second year. At the end of the holiday, holidaymakers are given a feedback form to complete: please remember to give feedback on your holiday and the resort.
